David, Rick and I at Punky Lil Kid believe in helping our community and planet. We believe in win-win relationships and projects that inspire and create positive outcomes for all involved. This is in our mission statement. That is why it was so sad to see on the website of a company that has had nothing but a positive experience with us that someone we only know by name and a few phone calls would try to slander us.
We have worked hard in the community on our own money to this date, to bring education on health and with our upcoming festival we will add to that environment, global solutions, entertainment, advertising and recognition to our local artists, performers and businesses.
We have had the stress of carrying this burden alone, with no budget, with a smile and lots of humor because that is the only way we are getting through this with our sanity intact. We appreciate those that have helped to ease our tech pains like Lee Holbrook and Kareem Hilary. So when someone like Calvin Fahey use slandering words like scaming people for money, it is a joke.
Punky Lil Kid if fully committed to our mission. Jealousy, slander, haters and posers will not stop us. This is bigger than any ego or person. Punky Lil Kid is for real and here to stay. So do your homework Calvin Fahey. Use the energy and focus you have for slandering for your projects. And feel free to submit to our Punky Lil Kid film festival in February.
Keep us in your thoughts. We are having great success with contacts and leads but trouble on follow through with local businesses. No worries, every lil thing is going to be alright.
Much Love,
The Crew Of Punky Lil Kid Productions

A Punk's Thanksgiving.
We hope that everyone is enjoying Turkey Day. David and I are just about to begin our Turkey day together. We received in the mail yesterday one of our show case films for Saturday night of the Punky Lil Kid Film Festival. It is called Trust 22. A documentary based on one guy, one film and how he accomplished it strictly on the laws of attraction. Inspiring right?
Yesterday the laws of attraction was definitely working for David and I. David had the luck of having a unscheduled meeting with the Mayor of Salinas Dennis Donohue. He is interested in hearing our ideas about changing the image of Salinas and possibly holding a film festival in Salinas as well. More on this later.
We worked out some fine details with Kinko's for some of our film festival printing needs. We ran into Kevin from Copy Center that can help us finish the graphic design for our cards and posters. We talked sponsorship business with Nick and Sal of Carbone's and had an early Thanksgiving dinner there. It was yummy!! All in a days work for us punks.
The website will be updated with bios, pictures and the Punky Lil Kid story soon. We will be out networking and finding sponsors again tomorrow. Zumiez's is interested. Send positive vibes out for us. More on our progress. later.
Happy Turkey Day!!

Punky Lil Kid Film Festival Has Sponsors
Hey Guys!!
It has been a busy time in Monterey as we find our sponsors for the film festival. So far we have Kinko's as our printing sponsor, International Cuisine of Pacific Grove has offered to bless us with some of their great dishes and Bad Ass Coffee will be there to serve up the joe. We have been talking to several other local business and some corporate as well. We will give a full update on things next week.
Rapheal, the artist that drew our boy PLK, made us another image for the site. The site should be updated by Thanksgiving. Be gentle, it is a work in progress but check it out. www.punkylilkid.com
The Schmooze Fest was a blast last night. Our crew members Lee, Kareem & Philippe could not make it but David and I made some connections and got a few minutes to talk about the film festival and our need for performers. This is the last Schmooze Fest of the year and it was great to see everyone happy and getting into the holiday spirit.
We are still collecting data for the aerial spraying and looking for help to move the project along. The Monterey Film Commission may be of help to us for the festival and the aerial spraying documentary. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
We wish you and yours a great Turkey Day!
Much Love,
The PLK Crew

Punky Lil Kid In New York
As of November 1st, Punky Lil Kid has been spotted in New York. Seriously, this is first time that Punky Lil Kid has been listed here http://www.digitalcinemareport.com/punkylilkid.html
This write up talks about PLK and the making of the clip that will be expanded into the documentary series about Punky Lil Kid. If you are a film maker yourself, check out the site and list your project there.
It's official and I feel I can announce it as of today. Due to the serious community need and pressure from my friend Tracy Flores (just kidding), David and I are doing a documentary on the Aerial Spraying. We have had great response so far around this issue and people are ready to help and be interviewed. PLK feels this will be a great contribution to our community and everyone that will be affected by this incident. We will keep you updated here on what is developing. We are looking for a title for this documentary. Anyone interested? You will be given credit and a free documentary when completed. Anyone else that would like to help please contact us with your ideas.
Punk Lil Kid Film Festival
We are now in the promotion phase of the festival. David and I feel as if we have been waiting for this forever. You can get film festival information at www.PunkyLilKid.com . We will be transferring the .tv domain over soon as well so you will be able to use both web addresses to find us.
Calling for artist, decorators and photographers. Anyone interested in display your art, playing music, taking pictures at the event and or decorating the theatre is welcome to contact us with their ideas.
So much to do.... so much to tell!
Have a great week!
